This year, we are working heavily on an Immersive/Interactive Audiovisual Installation that dynamically interacts with its environment, an Animated Short for JIIFF 2024 an animated story about panet Earth, and a documentary series, "A Natural History," exploring the deep ties between humans and nature.
In June 2025, I will be part of an exciting residency at Chiasso Perdutto in Florence, Italy, exploring the rich history of the Florentine Renaissance through a multidisciplinary lens. This project merges art, science, and humanism, focusing on the evolution of our understanding of nature from Aristotle to Einstein. My installation will feature surreal diagrams and projections of orbiting planets, seamlessly interacting with large-scale drawings.
Accompanying the visual work will be an original score composed with the Bohemian Underground Collective, blending electronic minimalism with historical influences. This residency offers an immersive exploration of how the Renaissance continues to inspire contemporary art and science.
Show available to the public June 2-5, 2025. Florence, IT

Join me this January at the Agora Gallery in New York City for the debut of my latest series, A Surreal Future. This collection explores the intersection of human resilience and nature’s regenerative power, featuring vibrant, surrealist works that reimagine urban landscapes as thriving, organic spaces.
This show is hosted by AGI Fine Art, which represents emerging international artists, and offers a chance to engage with the rich art scene of New York. I invite you to a special Wine and Varnissage event on January 9, 2025, where we’ll celebrate the opening of this exciting series.

In October 2024, I participated in The Holy Art Expo in Barcelona, showcasing my work alongside international contemporary artists. My featured pieces, part of the A Surreal Future series, reimagined urban landscapes as vibrant, regenerative ecosystems, blending surrealist aesthetics with environmental themes.
The show was a celebration of artistic diversity, hosted in one of Europe’s most avant-garde art hubs. This exhibition marked a significant milestone in connecting my work to a global audience and reinforcing its relevance to contemporary conversations on art and sustainability.

This year, Bohemian Underground will present a generative audiovisual installation at an art gallery, showcasing one of the most cutting-edge applications of the combined audiovisual generation system. This installation utilizes musical rules and rhythm combinations, as well as user interaction and environmental factors like weather conditions and the time of day. Thanks to the use of open-source hardware such as ARDUINO and Raspberry Pi, we are able to implement an autonomous system that regenerates audio and video.
This system adjusts its output in response to various environmental parameters, from outdoor temperature to proximity or motion sensors, creating a unique combination of music and video that adapts to the gallery's atmosphere. The installation is designed to continue its pattern of action and reaction throughout the day, providing a constantly evolving and unique experience to visitors.
Bohemian Underground is developing an 8-minute animated short, projected as a condensed version of our "Son et Lumière" show. This short will utilize animation methods based on our own drawings to tell a visually captivating story, accompanied exclusively by our music, without narration.
This project is a deep exploration of how music and visual images can combine to tell an emotive and powerful story, creating an immersive experience that reflects the spirit of our live performance but adapted for a cinematic audience. The realization of this animated short for JIIFF 2024 allows us to bring our artistic vision to a new stage, reaching a broader and more diverse audience.
"A Natural History" is a documentary series about the connection between humans and their environment. It is about the artists and community living in the Sierras de Rocha, eastern Uruguay. The series will be filmed on site and edited by us, using music from the Quarterline Ensemble, recorded years ago with my old friends from Toronto. Written, directed, and narrated by me, the documentary explores the profound relationship between humans and their environment, weaving personal stories with the lush landscapes of the Sierras.
The many characters of Son et Lumiere are animated by scanning pencil and paper drawings. This early prototype shows the way shapes are connected and dynamic equations incorporated.
